3D Gallery

Istanbul, Labyrinth, Zoroaster, Amazon and Zodiac have been created to illustrate a Sci-Fi fairy tale. The character, background and composition show the progress of these space-hopping stories.

The newest weekly images were added to Borobudur at February/17/2005.

I use a Japanese 3D rendering program called "Shade". Over 50 light sources are included in Amazon to accentuate the spaces and objects. Many skin-colored light sources are located around the face and body. In my rendered images, I like the human face and body to appear bright. I prefer this method of lighting, which is similar to that used on a theater stage. This lighting is not realistic, but artistic.

The large number of objects and light sources requires about 4 hours of rendering time for each image. My over-clocked computer is very effective for heavy 3D rendering. PhotoShop is used for the final processing of the image.
